DESIGN BRIEF
ACA Victoria advocates for the Early Learning Sector, representing hundreds of members across the State. As one of the key State bodies under ACA National, ACA Victoria operates its own membership, engaging with members through timely marketing activities that provide relevant and up-to-date information.
The original website featured out-of-date content, repetitive information and lacked a clear structure. Added to this, the brand identity needed some refreshment.
One of the key features of their existing website however, was the integration it had with their preferred CMS, MemNet. This allowed members to login, browse and purchase tickets to events and access exclusive resources and special offers.
One of the opportunities I had with this website was not only to align the look with the brand identity but bring consistency across all the visual elements, from icons, to buttons to links and image treatments.
However, this website was of a complex nature. It had a forum, a member portal, partner and supplier features, downloadable resources, a search tool for early learning centres across the State, sector news, and even listings which would direct members to their MemNet portal for purchases.
Considering all these features and giving them a distinct enough look from other sections of the site was an exciting challenge. As the website developed, some features fell away but each area of the site remains distinct and aligned with the brand identity.
