'Heading to Fiji' Digital Campaign

To promote Melbourne Storm's first ever trial game in Fiji, against the Newcastle Knights, I was commissioned to come up with a look for a digital campaign that would extend across social media, ticketing site, web ads and emails.

To depict the energy of the sport, we used performance shots of the athletes and emerging from the clear, blue waters of Fiji put them in an island context without looking like an ad for tourism. Adapting other brand elements, like the signature brand purple into a textured background and layering on Fiji Tourism's motifs also helped enhance the cultural elements in the design.
