The Hitachi corporate profile brochure clearly outlines the company’s objectives, mission, values, operations, and key achievements. Hitachi aimed at increasing awareness of its UN sustainability goals among prospective partners and stakeholders.
For this project, the graphic design concept revolved around the theme of sustainable future-cities. Accordingly, the brochure showcases the significant contributions Hitachi is making across various industries such as rail, power, security, technology, and construction. Through creative illustrations, the brochure communicates Hitachi’s strategic vision without becoming overly literal or bogged down in the complexities of the broad initiatives the company is undertaking.
The colour palette for the brochure is rooted in Hitachi’s brand colours, yet it is used in a more sophisticated way. The design balances the deep blacks and vibrant reds with a softer, neutral grey, creating a visually appealing contrast. The intensity of red is reserved for feature elements like infographics or headings, where it is used strategically to draw attention to key pieces of information.
